Arsenal have ruled out the prospect of sending any of their young stars on loan to Championship sides this January, football.london reports.
Gunners boss Unai Emery had previously stated that he would not allow talented youngster Emile Smith Rowe to leave the club on loan this month, and he is now believed to have added Eddie Nketiah and Joe Willock to that list.
Nketiah and Willock both started in Arsenal’s 3-0 FA Cup third round victory over League One Blackpool, with the former having been a regular in the Spaniard’s match-day squad this season.
Both youngsters are being targeted by several Championship sides, with Willock also being chased by League One’s Sunderland.
Willock, 19, scored twice in the FA Cup win at Blackpool and has been impressing for Freddie Ljungberg’s U23 side/
Both youngsters could be utilised further in the FA Cup and Europa League competitions this season as Emery looks to rotate his squad and try and blend in some of the club’s youth players.
