Big question, Ben! The Robins will of course get Korey Smith back then who is due to return to first-team training in January. That will be a big boost, although we don’t want to put too much pressure on him as soon as he returns. I still think City could do with another quality central midfielder and they were linked to some such players at the end of the summer. I don’t think City will have too much money to spend alas – see the last financial reports on the club – and so if they do bring someone in it might be another attacker with a bit of pace. And if that happens then I fancy the club may turn to the loan market – as it would be very expensive to buy – and try and take someone from one of the top six Premier League clubs. Eddie Nketiah anyone? If it doesn’t work out then at least the club aren’t tied into anything long term.
