Wenger has given a team update ahead of the Premier League clash with Burnley and he revealed that his team has been boosted by the return of Hector Bellerin, Kieran Gibbs and Francis Coquelin.
Coquelin has been missing since pulling his hamstring in the 3-3 draw with Bournemouth earlier this month, while Bellerin was forced to sit out the win over Swansea City last week.
Meanwhile, Gibbs has missed the last three league games with his own injury, but all three defensive-minded players are now back at Colney and raring to go.
However, one man who is likely to miss out once again this weekend against Burnley, with Walcott’s calf problem still troubling the England international.
“From last week, Hector Bellerin, Francis Coquelin & Kieran Gibbs are back in the group,” Wenger said, as reported by the Mirror. “Not Walcott though. Giroud is back in training since yesterday.”
Walcott – who has scored eight league goals in 16 games this season – has missed the last four top-flight fixtures with his injury, which comes after he had missed just one of the first 16 fixtures.
