ARSENAL boss Unai Emery reportedly wants two signings in the wake of their Premier League defeat to Liverpool on Saturday.
Arsenal boss Emery saw his side thumped by Liverpool at Anfield, with a Roberto Firmino hat-trick coupled with goals from Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah making it a nightmare afternoon.
The Gunners have enjoyed a good Premier League campaign so far but their Merseyside mauling has now highlighted their shortcomings.
Arsenal signed five players in the summer but still somewhat resemble the inconsistent team that struggled under Arsene Wenger.
And the Daily Mail say Emery wants two signings when the transfer window reopens in January.
One of them is a central midfielder.
Aaron Ramsey is still widely expected to leave the north London giants at the end of the season.
The Wales international is close to joining Juventus with the Serie A giants confident of adding him to their star-studded squad.
As a result, Emery is hellbent on signing a replacement at the earliest opportunity.
And the Daily Mail say he would also love to add a centre-back to his squad.
Against Liverpool, their weaknesses at the back were exposed.
And it is something the Arsenal boss is clearly keen to rectify.
Emery, meanwhile, reflected on the Liverpool defeat after the drubbing at Anfield on Saturday.
