ARSENAL boss Unai Emery is keen to make PSV Eindhoven star Hirving Lozano his fourth signing of the summer, according to reports.
Arsenal boss Emery has already been busy as he plots a Premier League title charge next season.
The Spaniard has moved quickly to tie up deals for Stephan Lichtsteiner, Bernd Leno and Sokratis papastathopoulos.
And Transfermarketweb say Arsenal are keen to make Lozano their latest addition following his impressive World Cup displays.
The PSV star caught the eye as the South American giants reached the last 16.
Lozano scored the only goal of the game as Mexico stunned Germany in their World Cup opener last month.
And his performances in Russia are now seeing him linked with some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
Arsenal want another winger to put pressure of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who blew hot and cold following his move from Manchester United in January.
And Transfermarketweb say the Gunners have already been in contact about a move to the Emirates Stadium.
Speaking in June, Lozano’s father suggested his son could quit PSV after the World Cup.
And Arsenal now appear to be in pole position to secure his signature.
“There have been approaches, but right now there’s nothing concrete,” Jesus Lozano said.
“I think after the World Cup it will be clear if he stays at PSV or leaves for another team.”
Lozano has only been at PSV for one season, having arrived from Mexican side Pachuca last summer.
He scored a stunning 19 goals from 34 outings during his first year in the Eredivisie.
