Chelsea will have to cough up €50 million for Roma winger Cengiz Ünder.
Premier League rivals Arsenal are reported to have already had a €32 million bid rejected for the Turkish starlet, who has impressed for his club so far this season in both domestic and European arenas.
With 20 appearances in all competitions, Ünder is a terrifyingly direct attacking threat, willing to run at defenders and force them into a decision – not to mention his laser-guided long shots.
Tuttomercatoweb have claimed that the former Başakşehir man has been valued by Roma at €50 million – a not inconsiderable amount for a player still aged just 21.
Interest is rife from elsewhere, however. Several European clubs are said to be coveting the forward, although the most serious competition for the Blues may indeed come from Arsenal.
Maurizio Sarri is said to be eager to diversify his attacking options, with the ageing Pedro and Willian currently seeing a good deal of playing time.
