Arsene Wenger had claimed before the opening of the January transfer window that he was not going to sign any player but recent reports have proved contrary.
We reported earlier that Arsenal completed the signing of Cohen Bramall, the youngster has now been spotted training with Arsenal’s first team.
Reports suggest Hednesford Town left-back Bramall will sign on the dotted line in north London in the next 48 hours, in what is set to be the first piece of business for the Gunners in 2017.
The highly-rated 20-year-old, who can also operate on the wing, is believed to have impressed during a two-trial with Arsenal last week and will be handed a contract imminently…..
It’s understood Bramall will sign a two-and-a-half-year deal with Arsenal and Hednesford expected to receive a fee of around £40,000 for the young Englishman.
Here’s Bramall with Nacho Monreal during his trial with us…
Bramall will be joining as cover for Monreal and Kieran Gibbs but Wenger’s comments in the lead-up to January suggest it may be some time before Gooners see him in the first-team.
