Arsenal has in the last few days been linked with the signing of various players but if you believe reports from the Italian media today, Arsenal have rejected a bid from Juventus for the signature of Alexis Sanchez.
Reports say Sanchez was targeted as a replacement for departed Alvaro Morata following Real Madrid activating their buy back clause on the deal the last week.
With Arsenal having rejected an offer for the Chile international, it’s said that the Gunners won’t go back with a higher offer for the star attacker that won the Copa America Player of the Tournament, and will instead now turn attentions to former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez, who moved to Bayer Leverkusen last term.
According to the Daily Mail, the player is believed to be relatively keen on a return to Italy but Arsenal has reportedly turned down the first offer that could have taken him to Italy.
The Chilean had to leave the Copa America final before the penalty shootout on account of a nasty tackle that left him unable to play past the 104th minute. Chile went on to win anyway, thanks to Messi’s missed penalty, but Alexis’ ankle has swollen, according to the players post on social media.
