Ask Arsenal fans, and a good number of them will tell you they will like the club to sign a wing forward this summer. This is especially so as Theo Walcott has been very poor for the team in recent time. And with Henrikh Mkhitaryan looking like he will be signing for Manchester United rather than us, Arsenal appear to have moved for Mario Gotze.
Gotze was initially thought to be on his way to Liverpool but reliable informationm from the German media claims Arsenal have moved ahead of Liverpool for the signature of the German world cup hero. Mario Gotze is surplus to requirement with Bayern Munich after the Bavarians completed the signing of Renato Sanchez.
He was linked with Dortmund where he left before joining Bayern Munich but according to the very reliable German media out, BILD, Gotze is not considering a return to Dortmund and with Liverpool not in the Champions League next season, Arsenal now have a massive chance.
And this isn’t the first time Gotze is linked with a move to Arsenal. Wenger was said to have put in a bid of £30 million for him while he was at Dortmund but the player chose to instead move to Bayern Munich.
