Arsenal have launched an enquiry to sign Paris Saint-Germain star Julian Draxler, according to reports in France.
Draxler, 23, scored 10 goals in 25 appearances in his debut campaign for PSG, after joining from Wolfsburg in January, but the attacking midfielder is already being linked with a move away from the Parc des Princes before the summer transfer window slams shut.
It’s understood Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is an avid admirer of the German World Cup winner but the Gunners have made contact over a possible move.
Le 10 Sport suggest Arsenal have made an approach ‘in the last few hours’, with the north London club weighing up a £32million offer for Draxler.
Draxler’s agent Roger Wittmann was at Anfield last week as Liverpool stormed to a 4-2 victory over Hoffenheim, with the Reds also believed to be considering a move for the midfielder.
The Merseyside outfit are scouring the market for Philippe Coutinho’s potential replacement as Barcelona remain confident of landing the Brazilian.
Borussia Dortmund are also expressing a strong interest in Draxler.
