There is some bad news for the gunners on the Injury front this morning as there are news reports by daily mail which states Arsenal and France defender is set to be ruled out of action for the next 2 weeks due to an hamstring injury. Sagna who has been rock solid on the right side of the gunners’ defence this season reportedly couped the injury in the champions league clash midweek against Italian side Napoli.
According to daily mail, after the player underwent a scan yesterday, it was confirmed he will not be available for the team’s selection for the next 2 weeks. However, with the international week coming up after this weekend’s match against West Brom, the French man will only be missing one match ( against WBA ). In his place Carl Jenkinson is likely to be recalled.
If the reports are true, Sagna’s injury further adds to the Gunners injury woes. They are already without Santi Cazorla, Theo Walcott, Lukas Podolski, Abou Diaby, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and several youngsters such as Yaya Sanogo and Gedion Zalelam.
