If you believe reports from the German media, Arsenal are set to hijack Barcelona’s deal for Marc-Andre Ter with a £10.2 million bid which the amount Borussia Monchengladbach wants for the player. According to the reports, Barca already have a pre-contract agreement with the high rated goal keeper but Arsenal are confident they have a strong chance of hijacking the deal.
It is believed that Arsenal’s confidence is as a result of Barca’s refusal to stump up the necessary amount that will enable them sign the player. The reports claim Barca is still some 1.6 million pounds short of Borussia Monchengladbach ‘s valuation of the goalkeeper.
Although Barca will surely be the player’s prefence ( most players want to play for either Real Madrid or Barcelona ) but considering Barca’s ( and Real Madrid’s ) well know financial mess and Arsenal’s new found financial power in the market, Arsenal have a strong chance of signing the player as money talks in cases like this.
