REAL SOCIEDAD want Arsenal ace Nacho Monreal and Newcastle midfielder Mikel Merino.
Monreal has been a key player for the Gunners since his arrival from Malaga in 2013.
The talented full-back made 38 appearances last season scoring six goals and assisted a further two.
He has won three FA Cup titles during his time at the Emirates but has been linked with an Emirates exit.
According Spanish daily AS, Sociedad are serious suitors for his signature but he isn’t the only Premier League player they are after.
Toon playmaker Merino is another top target
The 22-year-old has been a relatively peripheral figure on Tyneside since signing for the club permanently last year.
He made just 24 appearances last season and now looks set to return to Spain.
Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez, meanwhile, is keen to to bolster his ranks.
Benitez is in talks to sign Nice forward Alassane Plea.
Sky Sports say the Toon have already had one bid rejected from the Ligue 1 side.
The 25-year-old didn’t turn up for pre-season training on Monday and West Ham are also sniffing around.
Plea played 36 top-flight games last season, scoring 16 goals.
