Manchester United will demand in excess of £100m to part with Anthony Martial this summer.
The Frenchman’s agent confirmed last week that his client wants to leave Old Trafford after falling out of favour under Jose Mourinho.
Martial has attracted attention from Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus, while Premier League rivals Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham are also interested.
United are reluctant to let him join a direct rival and will demand a Premier League record of £100million to let him go, according to the Sun.
United signed Martial for £36m in 2015 but the deal could rise to as much as £58m depending on his level of success at the Theatre of Dreams.
The Frenchman scored 17 goals in his debut campaign under Louis van Gaal but he’s failed to settle under Mourinho.
Alexis Sanchez’s arrival from Arsenal in January halted Martial’s contract negotiations with United and his agent said a club of the Red Devils’ size clearly don’t value the Frenchman if they haven’t concluded talks by now.
The £100m price tag is likely to put off Juventus, while Paris Saint-Germain must sell before they can buy.
United may consider lowering their price tag to sell abroad but Mourinho wants to keep Martial.
