Injuries have been unfair to Arsenal to say the list and till now there are players who may not lace their boots for Arsenal till the end of this season.
However, Arsenal have been handed a major advantage in their Champion League game against Bayern Munich for next month.
Arturo Vidal admits he’s a doubt for Bayern Munich’s Champions League clash against Arsenal due to a rib injury.
The 29-year-old initially suffered the problem during the win over Mainz in the Telekom Cup final on January 14, and while he was able to start in Friday’s Bundesliga game against Freiburg, the midfielder was forced off after less than an hour played.
Arsene Wenger’s side face Bayern in the first leg of their last-16 tie on February 15, and the Chile international is now unsure over his availability for the fixture.
‘I feel bad and have severe pain on the rib. Now I will have to pause, because I cannot play,’ Vidal told TZ.
‘I already missed training for a week, but now it should take at least two or three weeks.
‘[I will see] how I feel for the last 16 in the Champions League.’
