Breaking: Arsenal beat Inter Milan to sign Ozan Kabak

Ozan Kabak is wanted by both Arsenal and Inter Milan after his incredible breakthrough season, according to reports.

The Galatasaray defender had only played a single minute of senior professional football before this season, but is now a regular feature of the Turkish side’s starting XI.

At just 18, his ascent is even more remarkable given the physical nature of the Turkish Super Lig.

According to Turkish newspaper Sabah, Arsenal and Inter Milan are now casting a closer eye over the starlet ahead of a potential move.

Rumours began to speculate in the Italian media that the defender has a €7.5million release clause, but Sabah claim there’s nothing official in the youngster’s contract.

Regardless, Galatasaray have moved swiftly in order to try to tie the youngster down – reportedly offering a five-year deal.

A tough-tackling centre-back with an eye for a pass, the youngster is seemingly a perfect match for Unai Emery’s new look Arsenal side.

The Gunners are currently enjoying a 17-match unbeaten run in all competitions ahead of a huge north London derby against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
