It is not often Arsenal gets linked with players of their rivals. But if you believe reports in the English media today, Arsenal may be on the verge of signing one of their rivas’ best talents. According to reports, Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal have made enquiry about the availability of North London rival star Dele Alli.
Arsenal are interested in a move for the 20-year-old youngster having just concluded a fantastic season in which he was crowned the PFA Young Player of the Year award as claimed by Gazzetta Dello Sport journalist Emanuele Giulianelli
The England international burst into limelight in 2015-16 for the North London club, scoring 10 goals and notching 11 assists as his good performances guided Spurs to a third place finish in the English Premier League, and securing Uefa Champions League football next season.
However, the Telegraph has quoted a Spurs source in which it claimed that Tottenham chairman Levy ‘would not even sell Dele Alli for £100 million’ this summer transfer window.
Popular transfer guru Giulianelli posted the Arsenals’ apparent interest on his personal Twitter account on Monday. He wrote: “Arsenal have asked Tottenham info about Dele Alli.”

Arsenal has earlier in the summer secured the signing of Swiss international Granit Xhaka for £33million as Arsenal manger Arsene Wenger looks to build on an already-strong central midfield unit.
Bamidele has five years left on his Spurs contract and it is likely that only a whopping fee would be enough to tempt Levy to sell the wonder kid.
The move may anger Spurs fans who won’t be happy to see one of their most priced star linked with a move to their North London rivals.
