One of the most trusted journalist when it comes to Arsenal news is David Orstein of the BBC. When Orstein reports a news, Arsenal fans take note. The BBC journalist is rarely wrong. I personally can’t remember when last he was wrong. And this is why Arsenal fans have a course to be happy that Jamie Vardy will be donning Arsenal shirt next season.
According to various reports last one week Arsenal have triggered the release clause of Jamie Vardy and the only thing holding up the deal from been officially announced is the fact that Leicester City have also made him a counter offer which has made the player indecisive. He was initially expected to announce a decision on his future against next season before flying away with England to France for the European Championship. He however didn’t make his decision known befor flying to France.
While many other journalists and media houses are claiming the player will remain at Leicester City, David Orstein and the BBC have confirmed the player has in fact only told Arsenal to wait till the end of the European Championship before the player finally announces his decision. This means he has definitely not accepted Leicester City’s offer and there is a real chance he will be playing for Arsenal next season.
Hopefully David Orstein is right, he has always been right.
