Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko is desperate to make his fantasy switch to Emirates Stadium, with Spanish news outlet Marca reporting that he “loves the idea” of moving to Arsenal this summer.
With the Magpies set to play Championship football next season, the player is ready to complete a move from St James’ Park. Liverpool though, is believed to be interested in getting the services of the player, however the player apparently wants an Arsenal move. Liverpool are said to have had a bid of 20 million accepted by Newcastle for the player, obviously the Reds former manager who is now in charge at Newcastle prefers giving Liverpool a helping hand.
Sissoko has been linked with a move to Arsenal for a long while now, yet Arsenal’s interest for the French man has cooled off as the Gunners no longer require his services. Regardless of the fact that Arsenal are not interested to land the 26-year-old French International, a known Arsenal admirer, has issued various come-and-get-me requests to the London club.
Arsenal has abundance of alternatives in the midfield in spite of the departure of three veteran midfielders in Mathieu Flamini, Mikel Arteta and Tomas Rosicky. The midfield is stacked to the point that the Gunners are willing to offload young talents like Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Daniel Crowley, and Jon Toral to go out on loan once more this summer. In addition, Arsenal’s new number 20 in Jeff Reine-Adelaide has been elevated to the first-team squad which makes signing a midfielder unlikely for Wenger.
