Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has declared Luiz Gustavo may not be joining Wolfsburg after all as he prefers to join a bigger club. Wolfsburg were according to reports the likest club to sign the Brazilian although Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenahm and Italian giants are reportedly interested in acquiring the service of the high rated and very versatile player.
The Brazilian is said to want out of Bayern Munich in order to seek first team action as he tries to make it into Brazil’s team for the 2014 world cup taking place in his home town.
“In the end, the question is: what does Luiz want and what does Bayern Munich want?” Rummenigge told German broadcaster Sport1.
“We will resolve this question in peace, I don’t think there will be a decision in the next few days,” he added, with the transfer window open until 2 September.
“The question is also whether Luiz wants to go to another club, who unfortunately don’t play international football, or whether he wants something bigger than that.”
Wenger was reportedly close to signing the Brazilian in the last January transfer window and it remains to be seeing if the Frenchman will go back in for the Brazilian.
