The Gunners are believed to have tabled an improved contract for former Barcelona defender Hector Bellerin. The new contract is believed to be worth £75,000 a week amid rumoured interest from FC Barcelona
Bellerin, 21, had a fantastic 2015-2016 season as he successfully made Arsenal right-back position his own. His fantastic season has attracted interest from Spanish giant FC Barcecona, the club where he spent 8years as a youth before moving to Arsenal in 2011.
The young man only signed a new deal last season, which is expected to last for the next 3years is set to be offered an improved contract to scare off suitors such as Barcelona. The new contract is believed to be a bumper £75,000 a week worth, to keep him at Arsenal for long.
The Sun is reporting that Bellerin is reluctant to leave North London this summer and his set to sign the improved contract offered him as soon as he returns from International duty where he is currently preparing to represent his fatherland Spain in France Euro 2016.
Hector Bellerin was quoted to have said he considers London his “home” and could not see himself leaving Arsenal for another club.
