Sanchez wants to leave Arsenal in order to pursue his dream of winning the Champions League.
The Chile international’s contract expires next summer and the chances of him signing a new deal to extend his Emirates stay appear slim.
The Gunners cannot offer him a place in Europe’s top club competition and the world’s elite are ready to capitalise.
Pep Guardiola is keen on a reunion with Sanchez at Manchester City, while Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with moves.
But Spanish outlet Diario Madridista are claiming the player’s agent wants him to join Real Madrid.
However, both parties are not open to a deal.
Real feel they are currently unable to offer him regular football due to their attack already consisting of the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale.
‘The BBC’ as they are known have helped Madrid win the Champions League twice in as many years and Real are supposedly reluctant to tinker with their winning formula.
They also feel he could be a difficult character to manage, and his ego could put him on an immediate collision course with Ronaldo.
Yet Sanchez is also not interested in a move to the Bernabeu.
The 28-year-old spent three years at Real’s fierce rivals Barcelona between 2011 and 2014.
And, as a sign of loyalty, he does not want to join Madrid in fear of upsetting the Barcelona supporters.
