PIERRE-EMERICK AUBAMEYANG has taken to social media to hail Arsenal target Ousmane Dembele.
Barcelona star Dembele has been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Arsenal or Liverpool possible destinations.
Dembele, 21, has struggled with injury and disciplinary issues following his £135m move to the Nou Camp from Borussia Dortmund in 2017.
Reports in Spain claimed Barca have ordered Dembele to grow up, otherwise they’ll sell him.
And Aubameyang, who had a remarkable partnership with Dembele at Dortmund, took to Twitter to hail the France international.
Aubameyang retweeted a video of Dembele tormenting defenders for Barca.
The Arsenal star then tweeted Dembele with laughing emoji’s, adding: “Bro respect the fathers of the family.”
During the 2016-17 season, Aubameyang and Dembele netted 37 goals between them in the Bundesliga.
A lot has been made of Arsenal’s interest in Barca ace Dembele, with Gunners hero Lauren urging Unai Emery to land the forward.
“I think Arsenal should do everything they can to sign Dembele,” he said.
“Everything about his style of play matches what Arsenal are looking for.
“He isn’t getting the playing time at Barcelona, or playing in his strongest position, but Arsenal’s high intensity will allow him to reach his potential.
“Dembele can play on either side of the pitch, which is a bonus and he’s showed that he can do it against the big teams, coming off the bench to rescue points for Barcelona.
