Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has admitted that he is willing to move out wide in order to play with Alexandre Lacazette at Arsenal (via ESPN).
After almost a decade of waiting for a top class centre-forward at Arsenal, the Gunners now have two to choose from.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang started ahead of Alexandre Lacazette on Sunday but was brought on with the Gabon international moving out to the left flank.
Based off of social media and what fans can see on the pitch, it’s clear that the two players have a good relationship and now, Aubameyang has given an insight as to why.
“We really get on well. There is a spark between us when we are both on the pitch together,” Aubameyang told ESPN.
“We look for each other, we saw it today [Sunday] against City when he came on. I don’t mind playing on the left if Laca is in the centre. We both want to do our best for the team.”
