Arsenal have been told they will have to pay as little as 400.000 euros rising to 700.000 after appearance based add ons if they must sign high rated Nigeria international midfielder Kelechi Iheanacho. Iheanacho who was named as the best player at the recently concluded FIFA under 17 world cup caught the attention of Arsenal scouts when he scored 4 goals against Mexico in the first match of the group.
He went on to score 6 times and helped his team mates to score 7 times. The players agent has confirmed Arsenal chief scout Steve Rowley has contacted them in regards to a potential transfer.
Talking to the press, Henry Galeano whi is the player’s agent said : “I can confirm that Arsenal FC’s Steve Rowley, acknowledged Kelechi Iheanacho’s talents early in the World Cup and has said some very nice words about him,”
Also interested in the player is Greek giants, PAOK who also sent in their scouts to watch the player at the under 17 world cup.
