Arsenal Told To Pay £31 Million To Sign Their 4th German International

There are reports in Germany that claim Arsenal have been told in clear terms that if they want to sign Marco Reus, they have to pay the full £31 million release clause of the player. Arsenal have a long interest in the player ever since he was with Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Reus has been one of Dortmund’s key players so far this season having scored a total of 4 goals in 7 Bundesliga matches. Aside Arsenal, the player is expected to attract offers from many other clubs in Europe and according to reports, Dortmund have secretly resigned themselves to losing him which is why they bought Toni Kroos about 2 seasons ago to help ease the burden of finally losing a key player such as Reus.

His versatile means he can play on both wings, in the middle or as a false nine which will be good for the gunners who are still in need of a striker.
