According to reports, Premier League leaders Arsenal recently sent scouts to watch Florentina‘s Juan Cuadrado, the scouts are said to have been watching him in action since the beginning of the season.
The 25 years old is said to have impressed the scouts and have been link to join arsenal in the January transfer Window. However, the defender cum prolific midfielder has said he is happy at the club and wants to discuss a potential new contract with his present club.
To further buttress the player’s stance Fiorentina’s management said they will “do everything” to keep the Colombian star but this hasn’t stopped the speculation about his future with other clubs aside Arsenal joining the race for the player’s signature. According to recent reports, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Juventus are all monitoring his rapid progress.
Only yesterday, Fiorentina president Andrea Della Valle confirmed the club will fight hard to keep their star man.
He told Firenzeviola.it: “We will try to do everything possible to keep him in Florence.
“Cuadrado we want you to stay here for a long time and have fun as you are doing now.”
