Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will have to beat off competition Fenerbahce, Liverpool and Inter Milan if he has to sign PSG’s Javier Pastore according to Turkish daily Fotomac. Wenger reportedly made an offer for Pastore in the last transfer window but the time was to short and couldn’t sign the player till the transfer window closed. But there have been reports that Wenger has not given up on signing the player even though he already signed Ozil.
If you believe Fotomac, he will not find it easy signing the player in January as aside Liverpool, Fenerbahce are also interested in the player. Fenerbahce coach Ersun Yanal admitted the Argentine international was on his radar as they Turkish giants are in the market for a proper number 10.
He told Turkish daily Fotomac: “I asked to arrange an appointment in Paris to discuss the direction of PSG.
“Fenerbahce want to move forward with a real number 10.”
The Argentine who has scored 24 goals in 90 appearances for PSG has reportedly been told by the French club they will allow him go if an offer that is accepted for them arrives for him. Pastore has a 20 million euros price tag.
