Arsenal To ACTIVATE £20m Release Clause Of N’Golo Kante

After having an impressive Premier League debut, French and Leicester City’s defensive midfielder N’Golo Kante hasn’t been short of suitors as the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea are interested in his services for next season.

N’Golo Kante was an unknown player even in the French Ligue 1 where he played for Caen which is not a French heavyweight club . Kante moved to England for £5.7 million as one of a few Claudio Ranieri’s summer signings. Though unknown, it was assumed that former Napoli and Swiss captain Gokan Inler would be the Foxes first
choice in defensive midfield which have seen the Swiss relegate the French man to the bench, but it wasn’t to be as Kante was undeterred instead quickly displacing Inler, and becoming the League’s best defensive midfielder and in turn displaying sublime performances all through the season.

Kante’s low centre of gravity allows him so much balance and strength to tackle and dispossess opponents . The player is also good in protecting the back four and has a quick and deadly pace which is rare for players in his position. Kante has refused to renew his contract with Leicester and instead is interested in moving to Arsenal if the Gunners table a £20 million bid that would trigger his release clause .

This is though unlikely as Arsenal might not be able to sign two high quality players for the same position after signing Granit Xhaka of Borussia Mochengladbach for £33 million and also considering the return of Jack Wilshere to first team football.
