According to Italian sources, Arsenal are eyeing a move for Ac Milan striker M’Baye Niang as well as Stephan El Shaarawy. Just yesterday the news broke of an existing agreement between Arsenal and AC Milan for the signature of Stephan El Shaarawy. However, Tribal football sources claim the gunners are trying to do a double swoop for both Stephan El Shaarawy and M’Baye Niang.
M’Baye Niang was on seriously linked to a move to Arsenal in 2011 before he decided to join AC Milan despite interest from other teams such as Inter Milan and Manchester City. He also went on trial with Everton. According to the reports, Arsenal have already commenced negotiation on both players with the hope of doing a quick deal in advance for January.
M’Baye Niang is expected to act as partner/competitor for Arsenal’s only current senior striker Olivier Giroud should he sign. Although it is believed signing M’Baye Niang will be more difficult than signing Stephan El Shaarawy, it is believed Arsenal believe a deal can be done.
Arsenal are reportedly trying to get a deal done for €7.
