North London club Arsenal have reportedly joined the race to sign AZ Alkmaar striker Vincent Janssen.
Arsene Wenger is working round the clock to sign a new goal poacher this summer but the Arsenal manger has suffered many set back so far. Vardy was first to reject a move to Arsenal in favour of signing a new contract with Leicester City and now Everton have reportedly offered Romelu Lukaku, another Arsenal target a new contract in order to keep him at the Goodison park.
Wenger is now turning his attention to Dutch striker Vincent Janssen and Arsene Wenger will be hoping to be successful this time around, and bring him to the Emirate stadium.
The Gunners will have to battle London rival Spurs for his signature. Tottenham are believed to be interested in the striker.
The Pochettino tutored side are strongly in the race to sign the striker as Spurs have already seen 3 bids rejected for the Dutch striker with the latest being a €14m bid.
According to AZ Alkmaar Sporting director recently, Tottenham are the only side to have made a concrete bid for the striker and announced that both clubs are still very far apart in their valuation for the player.
“The difference between the offer and the asking price is too big,” he said.
“I hear a lot of rumours but nobody else has made an offer.”
The Arsene Wenger tutored side could well take advantage of Spurs’s indecisiveness and sign the striker.
The Duth man scored 27 league goals for AZ Alkmaar last season and was the Dutch league’s highest goal scorer.
