Arsenal ran rally against the Liberty Stadium Landlords but more than one player made the headlines after the game.
MESUT OZIL was at his “exceptional” best against Swansea yesterday, believes former Arsenal striker Ian Wright.
The Germany international had missed Arsenal’s last three games before yesterday’s win due to illness.
And Wright says the Gunners are a better team with Ozil in the XI.
“They’ve missed (Ozil) for a few games but he made a real difference (at Swansea),” Wright said on Match of the Day.
“Swansea deserve credit for the first half but he was exceptional in crucial areas of the pitch.
“He makes the right decisions nine times out of 10. In the first half Arsenal didn’t create too much but anything they did create came through him.
“I know a lot of people say he doesn’t turn up in the big games but he was back today and Arsenal are a better team with him in it.
“Him and (Alexis) Sanchez together make Arsenal an exceptional team, a really dangerous team.
“And when he’s not there they don’t have that same cutting edge.”
