Arsenal On The VERGE Of Signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan

The gunners are hoping to secure the signature of Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Borussia Dortmund, according to reports

The Borussia Dortmund man has been linked with a move away from the German side lately, with top Premier League clubs said to be keen on bringing him to the Premiership.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is hoping to secure his second signing of this current transfer window after the acquisition of  Swiss International Granit Xhaka to The Emirates.

Football expert Emanuele Giulianelli says Arsene Wenger is in talks with Mkhitaryan’s agent about bringing the 27-year-old to the Emirates this summer.

Mkhitaryan share the same room with new Arsenal recruit Granit Xhaka on Internationals, and According to Evening Standard the player was quoted to have said he will like to follow Granit Xhaka, his Swiss team mate to Arsenal, his deal might fall through sooner rather than later.

He tweeted:

Wenger is thought to be keen to revamp his squad at The Emirates as he prepares for what could end up being his last season in charge of Arsenal, with his contract set to expire next summer.

Mkhitaryan is Armenia’s all-time top goalscorer, scoring 19 goals in 58 international matches since his debut in January 2007, including their first hat-trick. He has played for clubs such as Pyunik Yerevan, where he came through the youth system, Metalurh Donetsk, and Shakhtar Donetsk.
