Most Arsenal fans will be hoping their club will not only sign a striker this summer but as well as a right sided winger. Most Arsenal fans are sick and tired of seeing Theo Walcott in the team and rightly so. Walcott has now covered himself in glory on the occassions ( and it is numerous ) he has been given a chance with the first team.
And it does appear Wenger is also tired of Walcott hence Arsenal are said to be interested in signing Mahrez, Gotze and Mkhitaryan all of who can play in the same position as Theo Walcott. However, judging by reports by highly reliable Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the player is on his way to Manchester United.
Obviously, Mkhitaryan has the total agreement for his contract (and wage) with Man Utd. Just waiting for BVB answer. Mou is waiting for him

According to other reports, United have offered the player £195,000 a week which is £100,000 a week more than the £95,000 a week Arsenal have offered him. It is sad, Arsenal could do with someone like Henrikh Mkhitaryan in our team. Unfortunately we can’t compete with the likes of United, City and Chelsea. They have more money than us and unless the club owners finall decide to play the market the way it is currently been played, we will find ourselves without a trophy for so many years to come.
We can blame Wenger for as long as we want but the fact remains that, if we are interested in a particular player and United, Chelsea or City are interested in the same player, even if we don’t lose out on the transfer fee, we will certainly lose out on wages.
