Matteo Guendouzi will reportedly be confirmed as an Arsenal player later today, according to Pete O’Rourke.
O’Rourke claims that the player had a medical at the club yesterday as he prepares to complete a move to London.
The Lorient youngster will become the latest player to join Unai Emery’s Arsenal in what has been a busy summer transfer window so far.
Guendouzi had been attracting interest from some of the top teams in Europe, including Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain, but he is set to sign a four-year deal at the Emirates.
At the age of just 19, it is yet to be seen how Emery will utilise the midfielder in the first-team squad next season, if at all.
He featured 21 times for Lorient last season and is very highly thought of back in France.
