Arsenal and Liverpool are reportedly set to battle it out for Ibrahim Sulley and Emmanuel Gyamfi.
Sulley and Gyamfi have allegedly caught Arsenal and Liverpool’s attention after both featured for Ghana in the u17 World Cup last month.
Sulley has already apparently had a trial in Merseyside, while their national team coach, James Dzandz, insists that they’re both catching the eyes of clubs from all over Europe.
“They both played very well and we have received a lot of offers from Spain, Germany and England but we are reviewing them to see the place that can help them develop them better and provide him with opportunities to develop,” said Dzandz.
“We have learnt a lot from young African players rushing into big European clubs and not getting the opportunity to develop.
“They are going to go on a training programme in four weeks time… we are looking into Liverpool and Arsenal so hopefully we will see how it goes. We haven’t finalised any deals at the moment.”
He added, “We are looking at development opportunities for the boys and at the moment that is not in Ghana.”
Neither teenager has a club at the moment, so it makes sense that Dzandz is singing their praises. Good man.
Whether any top European club actually wants either player remains to be seen.
