Shkodran Mustafi will miss the trip to Watford with a hamstring injury.
The centre-back picked up the knock while playing for Germany in their win over Azerbaijan during World Cup qualifying. And according to Sky Sports, Mustafi has injured his hamstring and will be out of the Watford game on Saturday.
A hamstring injury is usually a minimum of three weeks out.
It means there’s a good chance Mustafi will at least miss the games against Waford, Everton and Swansea in the league, and unavailable for cup games against Norwich and Red Star Belgrade.
Mustafi’s Arsenal future was in doubt in the summer, but he continued to be selected as part of the three man back line. Although his performances didn’t convince everyone, Arsenal have kept four clean sheets since the 4-0 defeat against Liverpool with him in the side.
