Arsenal appear to have secured another transfer deal to add to the expected arrival of Lucas Torreira this summer, according to reports as of this weekend.
New Arsenal boss Unai Emery has done well so far to secure the services of Stephan Lichtsteiner, with the likes of Sokratis and Lucas Torreira expected to complete transfer moves to north London as well.
However, it appears as though the Spaniard will not end his summer business there just yet as the club continues to work on bringing in more defensive recruits.
According to reports, the Gunners are now finishing up a deal to sign goalkeeper Bernd Leno from Bayer Leverkusen.
The 26-year-old is being brought in as the man to provide a solution to Arsenal’s worrying goalkeeping situation which saw them concede the most goals out of all of the top six sides in the Premier League last season.
Leno’s transfer to the Emirates stadium will cost the Gunners a fee in the region of £21.8million after an agreement was reached with Leverkusen.
