AN ANGRY member of Arsenal’s coaching staff confronted new signing Lucas Torreira after the loss to Chelsea.

Chelsea led 2-0 after 20 minutes through goals from Pedro and Alvaro Morata before Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Alex Iwobi drew the Gunners level before half-time.

But the great comeback was ended when Eden Hazard set up Marcos Alonso for the winner nine minutes from time.

Arsenal’s players made their way to the Shed End at the final whistle where they were applauded by their travelling fans.

But Juan Carlos Carcedo – Unai Emery’s assistant head coach – was in no mood for adulation.

Instead, he approached Torreira in a ‘clearly angry’ mood, according to Football.London.

It’s said that Carcedo was upset with the way Alonso was allowed to get away from him to score the winner.

The pair were seen in deep discussion for over a minute with Carcedo pointing to the area of the pitch where the goal came from.

The coach then turned and returned to the changing room leaving Torriera to applaud the Arsenal fans again.
