Inter Milan have reportedly withdrawn their interest in rumoured Arsenal target, Arturo Vidal…
Arsenal, as well as Chelsea and Liverpool, are being linked with Bayern Munich’s midfield maestro, Vidal.
Inter, who are were said to be interested in the 30-year-old, have reportedly pulled out of the running because they can’t afford to sign him in January, claims Calcio Mercato (via talkSPORT). If they were to sign him, they would break UEFA’s Financial Fair Play regulations.
Although, the Serie A giants could apparently return in the summer if Bayern Munich don’t sell him before then.
Since Bayern sacked Carlo Ancelotti, who has since been linked with a move to Arsenal, Vidal has apparently fallen down the pecking order and is therefore keen to leave.
The German giants signed the Chile international from Juventus for a reported €37m plus €3m in add-ons (£33m, plus £2.7m in add-ons) just two years ago and considering the star has gone on to become recognised as one of the best midfielders in the world, you have to imagine that Bayern will be charging a higher amount given the current state of the transfer market.
Vidal has under two years left on his existing deal with Bayern.
While there, he’s won the Bundesliga title twice.
