If reports making the rounds are anything to go by, then Arsenal are yet undone in the transfer window and we could be set for a shocker.
Reports emerging have indicated that Manchester City are keeping tabs on Jack Wilshere and they are keen on a deal for the versatile midfielder.
City are long-time admirers, with Guardiola interested in possibly adding the 25-year-old to his midfield, while Everton are also among his admirers, according to the Daily Mirror.
Due lack of fitness and form, Wenger thought it wise to send him on a loan deal at Bournemouth. The midfielder has been able to stay fit and has been doing well for the Cherries.
City themselves have an injury-prone midfield star in Ilkay Gundogan, while Wilshere could also be a useful signing to replace the likes of Yaya Toure and Fabian Delph, who have not always been regulars in Guardiola’s side this season.
Wilshere will be out of contract with Arsenal at the end of the 2017/18 season, and Wenger will decide over the next few months what course of action to take over the player’s future.
