Former Arsenal attacker Serge Gnabry has refused to close the door on a sensational Arsenal return just five months after leaving.
The Germany international played 10 league games for Arsene Wenger but after four years at the club decided to join Werder Bremen.
While first-team opportunities at the Emirates were limited, Gnabry has flourished in Germany, scoring 10 goals in 16 appearances.
He has been excelling in the Bundesliga and has become a key player for Bremen, but, Gnabry has hinted he would be open to a return to England.
When asked about his future, Gnabry told Bild: ‘For my future, I’ve decided to focus on how I play now and today. That’s why I’m trying to concentrate on the now.
‘As of today, I do not intend to change in the summer. But what happens in the future depends on my performance.
“What if Chelsea or Arsenal come knocking? Well, at the moment I’m trying to give everything to Werder”
