Besiktas will reportedly turn their attention towards Olivier Giroud in the next few days.
According to a report from beIN Sports in Turkey, the Super Lig outfit will look to finalise the £25m sale of Cenk Tosun to Everton in the imminent future before looking to press on with their efforts to land Giroud.
Tosun has been a key player for Besiktas this season and they will undoubtedly need to recruit well if they are to replace the goals that they are now set to part company with.
Besiktas will have a sizable amount to spend on a new striker and it seems Giroud is a genuine target for the Turkish giants. The towering forward has been starved of consistent game time this season and could be open to a move away in the mid-season transfer window.
Giroud is currently sidelined through injury but is without doubt a valuable option for Arsene Wenger still.
