Lucas Perez’s time at Arsenal might just be coming to an end after the club named their asking price for the striker amid interest from Lazio, according to the Daily Star.

The 29-year-old has endured a torrid time at Arsenal ever since his £17.1 million move from Depotivo La Coruna during the last days of the 2016 summer transfer window.

He spent last season back on loan at Deportivo and scored eight times as they got relegated to the lower division, he has since returned to Arsenal where he doesn’t appear to be in the plans of the new manager Unai Emery.

With Lazio registering interest in the Spaniard, the Gunners have decided its time they shipped him off, and have placed a £7 million asking price on him

Perez never managed to convince former manager Arsene Wenger during their time together, though not for want of trying, as he was never really given a chance. He was impressive the few times he got to play, most notably his hattrick against Basel in the Europa league.

The arrival of Alexandre Lacazette and later Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang pushed him further down the pecking order and effectively sealed his fate.
