Given the form of Alexis Sanchez, Arsenal can push of for the title if the Chile international remains fit for the rest of the season.
However, the Chilean international has mentioned Thierry Henry as an Arsenal player he would have loved to play along.
Former France international Henry remains the Gunners’ all-time leading goalscorer with 228 goals in his 377 games for the club.
Henry, who spent eight years at Arsenal, also won two Premier League titles and two FA Cups in north London before joining Barcelona in 2007.
Sanchez has humbly submitted that he admires Henry, and relished the thought of playing with the French legend.
The Chilean, who has 14 goals in 22 games so far this season, said: ‘I would like to play with Henry. He could score, play one-twos with you, pass the ball and hold it up too.
‘He had a huge repertoire and a great vision. I like playing with players with such a panoramic vision of the game.’
When asked how he believes he would link up with Henry, Sanchez added: ‘I think that we would do great together.
‘We would be constantly moving, going up and down, coming and going.
‘He is more of a goalscorer than I am. I think I would assist him for every goal he would score. I am more into passing and he is a great goalscorer.’
