Alexis Sanchez Shuns Arsenal Fans After 5th Place Finish, Wants Out ASAP

Arsenal defeated Everton to register their 5th win on the trot in the Premier League but it was not enough for a top four finish and they remained 5th in the table.

The Gunners needed Liverpool to slip up on the final day of the season but the Merseysiders defeated Boro 3-0 to earn Champions League qualification.

Without a shadow of a doubt, Alexis Sanchez has been Arsenal’s best player in the current campaign. He has netted 29 goals and provided 19 assists in 50 games for the club. He deserves a new deal but the club have failed to agree one with him as yet.

The Chilean should be starting vs Chelsea in the FA Cup final next weekend. That fixture vs the Blues could be his last game for the North Londoners as he is linked with a move away from the club (via Don Balon).

He was subbed in the 68th minute of the game against Everton and stormed down (Daily Star) the tunnel. Moreover, after the contest, he did not even post a single message for the Arsenal fans and it will be fair to say that his departure from the Emirates is getting closer.

The former Barcelona star’s official Facebook page has mostly been inactive but the Instagram and Twitter accounts are active. Still, there was no message for the supporters after the final PL game of the season.

The Gunners supporters will be delighted that record signing Mesut Ozil took time out to leave a message for the fans on his Twitter account and claimed that he is up beat for the FA Cup final.
