North London club Arsenal has been given a massive boost as their Chilean attacker Alexis Sanchez is looking likely to be fit and ready for the Premier League season.
The Chile international attacker injured his ankle during the Copa America last month whilst playing for his country and eventual champions Chile. With the look of things at that time, It seems the attacker would not be ready for next month but recent scans have shown that he could indeed be fit to play.
Gabriel Mercado matched on the Arsenal star’s foot just minutes into the final match, but Alexis Sanchez continued for another 90 minutes before he was substituted during extra-time.
The Chilean later jetted off on vacation in the wake of the Copa victory, travelling to US city of Miami, but has since returned to Chile for further treatment on his foot.
The Attacker is expected to report to Arsenal’s London Colney ground later in the month, and his ankle will be a concern for the club with a month to go until the Premier League returns.
