Newcastle United’s Yohan Cabaye may still join Arsenal if you judge by comments attributed to Newcastle United’s manager Alan Pardew couple of hours ago. Cabaye has been linked with a move to Arsenal with Newcastle reportedly rejecting both of Arsenal’s bid for the French man. It was thought Arsenal had moved on and will no longer be signing the midfielder but Newcastle Manager has now confirmed the day may well still be on.
Pardew on whether Cabaye is staying after his 1st game “It doesn’t mean he’s staying because the window is staying open until 11pm on Monday”
The Want-away French man played the last 25 minutes of Newcastle United’s match against Fulham amid a mixture of boos and applause from Newcastle United fans. Cabaye had refused to play for Newcastle United ever since they rejected Arsenal’s £10million bid in the first week of the current EPL season.
The last 3 days of the transfer window promises to be interesting for Arsenal who are yet to make any tangible move in the transfer market so far.
