Arsenal manager gave nothing away in his latest press conference about his current moves in the transfer window but gave subtle hints.
He assured the clubs fans that they would be active until the very end of the transfer window and that he was looking to bring in ‘two, three or possibly more’. He also denied that he was scared to spend money.
When asked about his next move in the Luis Suarez saga, he said he would not be mentioning any names and gave the same answer when questioned about Wayne Rooney.
Although Manchester United and Liverpool have repeatedly said they would not sell their strikers. The Premier League champions are believed to have entered negotiations with Samuel Eto’o who could come in as a replacement for Rooney.
Suarez has finally been allowed to train with the rest of the squad after apologizing to his team-mates but still has his heart set on a move away with Arsenal considering a new improved bid of £51 million.
Arsenal have seen a lot of players leave the club this summer and are yet to replace them leaving the squad threadbare. Wenger will need to work hard to bring in quality replacements and has his sights set firmly on Suarez and Rooney.
