Though Aaron Ramsey may have grabbed his first goal in Arsenal’s 5-1 win over Fulham on Sunday, his future at the club still remains incredibly cloudy.
As it stands, Ramsey will leave the Emirates at the end of the season.
While Liverpool were seen to be favourites to secure Ramsey’s signature, it seems one of Europe’s most prestigious sides are also showing an interest.
Ramsey to Real Madrid?
Ian McGarry told the Transfer Window Podcast that Real Madrid have declared an interest in signing the 27-year-old.
McGarry also announced that the former La Liga champions were also interested in making a move when contract negotiations between both parties begun 18-months ago.
Since moving from Cardiff for £4.8million back in 2008, he has made over 200 appearances across all competitions.
During Ramsey’s 11 year stay, he has lifted two FA Cup’s, scoring the winner in both finals.
The Welshman has recorded 1 goal and 3 assists in eight Premier League matches so far.
He is also now Arsenal’s longest-serving player.
Ramsey is currently on international duty with Wales.
